Financial Advisor
As a member of the Montgomery family, Eric has been around insurance & investments pretty much all of his life. Eric is a lifelong Xenia resident and takes pride in his community. He is a graduate of Rio Grande College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. In addition to his experience with the family business, Eric was a field supervisor for The Travelers before starting with the family business in 1990. In December 2019, Eric celebrated his 30th year at the family firm. He has been blessed with a successful career as a financial advisor serving many clients with a comprehensive approach to investment and financial planning. Eric is excited to announce and introduce his new protégé, his son, Kent Montgomery, who just joined the family business in the financial services department in November 2019.

I married my soulmate. I always like to have fun. I enjoy a fine bottle of wine with good friends and family. I enjoy serving my clients. Getting some exercise and trying to stay healthy has become a higher priority than it has in the past! Music makes me smile. Norris lake is my happy place. I hate seeing people take advantage of others. I still think I should have stuck with college baseball. I love watching people succeed. I have a hard time saying no to a round of golf… I just wish golf loved me as much as I love the game! Working with my family in the business my family built is the best career I could have hoped for. Service to humanity is still “the best work of life”!
